This song is the ultimate revenge fantasy.

I wrote the lyrics to this song when I was going through a period of utter frustration and turmoil that just came to head at the point that we were writing this song, and instead of self depreciating , like i usually do, I stood up for myself and pushed back; metaphorically speaking of course. We wrote this song while trying to beef up our set while simultaneously trying to write new material, that we hope would eventually turn into a full length album. I played around with the idea of making this a bonus track were we to ever physically release our debut EP to set it apart from buying it digitally, however A: It wouldn't have fit the concept and B: well you know...

There was something about the music that put this epic, sort of angelic and demonic battle scenes in my head so I decided to metaphorically step into the shoes of Lucifer himself (this is metal after all) and ask myself the question: "What if the devil fought to the gates of Heaven itself and took retribution on his fellow angels for being cast from heaven?"

Answer: This song.

Writing all of this was, as always, very therapeutic. Enjoy!
